Today I am very excited to announce Moesion, Tellago Studios latest product. Not only did I work on this product with a great team loaded with fellow Microsoft MVPs, I have wanted this product since I placed my very first server online well over a decade ago.
Despite my passion for developing software, being tethered to a computer around the clock is not my life’s desire. I enjoy going out to eat, movies, concerts and riding roller coasters. Unfortunately if you have ever been an 
administrator for a server you know what this means. Someone has to be ‘on call’ or sitting within arms reach of a computer to remote into servers at any given moment. Those moments always seem to be just after the movie trailers end, you finally get in the roller coaster, you are stuck in traffic or just as my meal is being served.
This is the big downside of being in IT support or development. These requirements not only break into your personal life it makes your loved ones upset with you. This is not good for your personal health and relationships. I can’t tell you how many times over the past decade I really wished I could use my phone to just restart a web server or change a user’s lost password.
Well today I am very pleased to announce Moesion, a completely cross-platform mobile solution to put you in control of your IT assets. Instead of giving you a 
remote desktop experience Moesion gives you a touch first, mobile interface to manage remote servers, quickly and securely.
Today we are launching our public Beta with support for common system management, IIS, SQL Server, Biztalk, SharePoint and Azure management capabilities. And get this, we even have a free version! That’s right if you have a single server to manage, feel free to sign up, run through a quick setup process and get your Moesion running! We also have a per server version for $30 per server, per month. An enterprise version covering up to 50 servers. We can even customize a plan and functionality specifically for your needs.
What do you get?
The free offering includes access to your server’s Event Logs, User Management, Services, Processes, Devices, Disks, Hot Fixes, Processor and Memory information. You can also start, stop and pause services. You can also add, remove and change user passwords. Oh and did I mention you can do this from your phone, tablet or desktop?
Our paid product includes IIS and SQL Server management as well as the ability to run PowerShell scripts. Wait, what did I just say? Yes that’s right you will be able to upload your own customer PowerShell scripts and run them right in the palm of your hand!
IIS gives you a remote control to not only view your application pools and web sites. You can also start, stop and recycle sites and application pools. This alone would have made this worth it for me a decade ago.
The SQL Server application is very robust as well. You can drill into your databases, tables views, columns, stored procedures and security management. You can even shrink a database right from your iPad.
Wait There’s More!
But we have not limited to just System access, IIS and SQL Server. We have add-on application support for Biztalk, Azure and SharePoint. We also have more application and platforms planned for the very near future.
Moesion was developed using a touch first approach using HTML5 and AJAX magic. This means Moesion will immediately work across multiple smartphone and tablet platforms. Plus you do not have to wait for updates to be delayed with an app store, it just works and will always have the latest edition.
