Mixing things Up in Vegas
So this week I am in Las Vegas at MIX08. Right now I have just finished breakfast and I am waiting on the Keynote to start at 9:30, which is.......really 12:30. There is a 3 hour difference for me. I stayed up for 21 straight hours yesterday, and had a very solid 3.5 hours of sleep last night!
I have run into a few of my friends and plan on seeing quite a few more today. I think Duffy finally made it in last night. I am rooming with Rob and hanging out with Karl a lot so far. Brian is here, but I have not seen him yet, but give it a few minutes and the place will change.
I think there will be some great stuff being announced in a few hours at the keynote. I here rumblings of possible CLR on Linux, gasp. Speaking of Linux, I was walking through the Venetian Casino when I first got here and they had a power blip. All the slots went down and had to power back up. Many seemed to be running Linux. So there is your beating Vegas tip is find some Linux trojans and have at it!!!!
More to come this week, so stay tuned. BTW, you should be able to see the Keynote streamed live from what I here. All sessions will be available within 24 hours themselves.
