Raleigh Code Camp 2008

Raleigh Code Camp This is not a secret, but I did want to remind everyone about the upcoming Raleigh Code Camp, on February 16th. ECPI Raleigh is graciously hosting the event for us again. They have been a wonderful host for our previous Code Camp as well as a few of our TRINUG events over the past year.

Rob has been busy gathering great sponsors for the event and we should have some great door prizes for everyone!

I have been busy over the past month working on gathering speakers for the event and I think I did alright. We have 4 Regional Directors and 12 MVPs speaking at the event. We have several SharePoint and Linq sessions. There will also be Silverlight, AJAX, SQL Server, WPF, WCF, Biztalk, IIS 7 and much more. 30 Sessions in all.

My presentation will be on ASP.NET Front-End Performance. Look for some Blog entries around that very soon!

I setup a Twitter account for the event this weekend, http://twitter.com/codecamprdu, so please add it to your follow list and we can share our thoughts on the 16th. Rob created a Facebook event for us to use as well.

The coolest thing is that Carl and Richard from Dot Net Rocks will be here!! They play on recording an episode of the extremely popular podcast while they are here too. So get extra excited!!!
