Code Camps and TRINUG
I want to thank Justin Gehtland for speaking to the TRINUG this week about Ruby and exposing our group to the cool stuff in Ruby and the Dynamic language movement. Justin is a great speaker and extremely knowledgeable about not only Ruby, but may deep programming topics. I highly recommend Justin to any group for a presenter. Maybe we can coax him to participate in the Code Camp RDU this June!
Speaking of Code Camp, I will be presenting bright and early in the morning the Charlotte Code Camp. I will be giving a presentation that will be sort of an mesh of several recent presentations and some new stuff on building ASP.NET sites. I will talk about some coding and architect, performance and SEO tricks I have picked up along the way.
I am real excited about the topics and speakers for the Raleigh Code Camp next month and I cannot wait to announce the line up in a few weeks. But we still need people to present. I plan on coordinating a 5 X 5 schedule or 25 sessions on June 23rd. There are still slots available, so please submit abstracts to me and do not be shy. In fact submit one for your buddy too!
Finally we are super excited about Rocky Lhotka coming to TRINUG for the June meeting. If you are un-aware Rocky is one of the premiere .NET experts and built the CSLA Object framework. Please watch www.TRINUG.org for more details in the coming days!
