After Lunch Update from Mix day 1
So after the keynote Rob and I decided to head to the Sandbox so I could get my copies of Vista Ultimate and Expression Suite (awsome!). We ran into Todd Fine, Jeff Prosise and Peter Ludauti while we were there. It was good to talk to them about what they think about the new stuff hitting the world right now. Jeff is really excited about everything that is happening and thinks this week maybe one of those watershed events we look back on in five years.
We had lunch with Peter Ludauti, but on the way ran into Brad Abrams. He is pretty tight in the Silverlight group at Microsoft now, so he will be a great person to know as this technology proliferates. We talked to Peter about the future of user experience and about the .NET market in the Mid-Atlantic area. The Philadelphia area just seems to be exploding with user group enthusiasm lately and we really wanted to know if he knew why. He was not realy sure, but did let us in on a bit of cool information for the .NET community in the Philadelphia area,so stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks if you are around Philly.
Rob posted a photo of me stinking at MLB2K7 this morning.
