ASP.NET 2.0: Your visual blueprint for developing Web applications

I have held off announcing this on the Blog until it got a little further along, but I am priveledged to be the author of an upcoming book, ASP.NET 2.0: Your visual blueprint for developing Web applications.  This book is targeted at developers who are new to ASP.NET and need a good introduction to get them going.  A good target market for this book will be VB6, Classic ASP and Java developers who are upgrading and crossing over to ASP.NET 2.0.

It should be available in late April if all goes as planned.  I have about 40-50% of the book penned at this point and should have it complete by the first week of January.  Believe it or not, I have learned quite a bit about some of the new features of ASP.NET doing research for this book.  The biggest problem, for me at least, is that I am limited to 350 pages!  There are so many rich things to cover in ASP.NET 2.0, but I guess that is why I started blogging almost 1 year ago. I am honored to be able to work on this project and I will probably talk a little more about it as I finish my authoring.

Chris, Let me know if you want another set of eyes as a reviewer.  I would be glad to look it over.  - Tom
