Google Helping out Hackers???

I saw last week that Google released their Code Search tool, which I thought was pretty interesting.  I tought it was having a hard time returning relavent coding samples for .NET, I honestly could not qualify results for other languages.  It really frustrated me getting other languages returned for search queries with VB.NET or C# entered.  It gives you an opportunity to select C# and BASIC, but not VB.NET so on that alone it is weak, but a good start.

Anyway, saw this headline about Google being used by hackers.  I have found tutorials about using the main Google Search engine to find open computers and shares in the past.  The article talks about how now hackers can now use this tool to find poorly written open-source projects to find the holes and more quickly exploit them.  Just another nail in the coffin of Open Source as a viable business platform.
