I just love when I stumble across a cool site that is done in .NET, it is so vindicating in a way. I think we all know about some giants like MySpace.com and parts of EBay, etc. This morning I found a really neat Major League Baseball fan site, FanGraphs.

I woke up this morning to a press release about Microsoft opening a new site called CodePlex. It looks like a site dedicated to Source Out In The Open projects built on .NET and will function much like Source Forge. I guess the big question that time will tell is, whill 99% of these projects be abandoned by their creators as soon as they are started too?
